This weekend we put up our Christmas decorations. And tonight for family night we made Christmas sugar cookies. I helped the kids while Joel chased Sarah. I think I got the better end of the deal. Now the kids are in bed and the kitchen is a total mess. :) And I'd rather sit and blog than clean it all up. We usually only make sugar cookies once a year for this very reason. Mmmmmm. . . . but we used the best recipe ever this year! I'll post it for you soon. Right now the recipe is sitting in the other room and I'm too tired & immobile to get up and get it and type it for you. So you'll just have to be kept in suspense . . . But, oh, it will be worth the wait. I promise.

Is it Mom's recipe? Those ones are the best :)
It's not mom's recipe, but it is very similar. It just has those spices added, which make it even better. But they have the same softness as mom's great recipe. Try them Mike! Find your inner baker! ;)
