On a beautiful summer evening in June, we took our nephew and our two little ones to a park in Provo, Utah, for my great uncle's birthday celebration. It was a perfect evening. Green grass to run on. Strawberries to eat. I got to be with my dear grandmother & her sister, the singing pair, the Singleton Sisters, as they were known as when they were young.
The park is near our old apartment, so we drove by for old time's sake. This is where we lived 12 years ago, when Savannah was born. I was in my last year at BYU. I went into labor two hours after I finished my last final exam. Savannah had come 2 weeks early. I missed graduation ceremony because I was still in the hospital. A baby and a diploma all in one week! We have good memories of our time here in this special little place.
